API Waste Services is a roll-off dumpster and recycling company providing waste management services on California’s Central Coast since 1989.
We provide roll-off waste dumpsters and recycling bins in Northern Santa Barbara County (Santa Ynez, Solvang, Buellton, Los Alamos, Lompoc, Vandenberg AFB, Mission Hills, Santa Maria, Orcutt, Guadalupe, & Tanglewood) and most of San Luis Obispo County (Nipomo, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Cayucus, Cambria, Templeton, Atascadero, Santa Margarita, Creston, Shandon, and most unicorporated areas around Paso Robles).
We lease roll-off refuse bins to our customers who fill these bins with waste and/or recyclable materials.
The material we collect is hauled to all of the local landfills, recycling centers, and material recovery facilities. In addition to utilizing all of the local disposal and recycling facilities, API Waste Services shares in the operation of a construction and demolition separation facility to recover recyclable materials and save valuable landfill space. Concrete, wood, green-waste, asphalt, cardboard, and metals are the main materials removed from loads and recycled.
Both SLO and SB County and many local municipalities have enacted recycling ordinances, which require contractors to recycle or divert 50% of jobsite waste away from the landfills. API Waste Services has worked in conjunction with the California Integrated Waste Management Board, the Integrated Waste Management Authority, San Luis and Santa Barbara Counties, and our local cities to offer contractors service with certified full compliance for recycling plans and disposal reports.
